Next Face. Full Circle.

Well well well.

Our surreal life continues here at Next Face.

Some thirty years after buying and hanging on to three of his rookie cards - the jewels in our childhood hockey card collection - we are but 90 minutes away from interviewing Mr. Dryden. We are locked and loaded with some terrific questions some of which were provided to us by AP (our guest host and frequent contributor) as well as one question from none other that Warren Kinsella who was kind enough to email us last night.

Stay tuned. We will post portions of the interview later today and the rest of it over the course of the week.

Hey, I like Ken. (Who doesn't?) He's just easy to make fun of. I'm looking forward to your account of of the interview.

Why is he easy to make fun of? And why would you make fun of somebody you say you like?

I notice that very few of Mr. Dryden detractors have little of substance to say, other than "he's boring". If that's the only criticism you can find...

Ken is great....good for you....dont like warren kinsella though...he is a jerk and one of the reasons we lost the last election.

Anon,

Two things.

One - we actuallly asked Ken Dryden about the 'boring' issue - you will hear his candid response later as we post the transcript.

Two - we also have our opinion about Mr Kinsella and his contribution in the last election...but Next Face is an inclusive institution. The only way around the sins of the past is to not repeat them.

You know Ken has been a fantastic speaker at both party sponsored leadership debatyes, in one out speaking Mr. Ignatieff, the supposed smooth talker. (not)

In a leadership forum last week in Kw he was absolutely smokin and prim ministerial. People who say he's a boring speaker must not have heard him speak lately.

Red, didn't you say you didn't watch at least one of the debates, so how can you even legitimize this opinion?

Ken's great. He speaks a whole lot better than Harper which is all that counts.

We love ya!

Nice to see you come around.

We are not advocating on behalf of any candidate, but we knew Mr. Dryden would come in to his own...and your point about him being a better speaker than Harper IS INDEED all that counts.

He was exceptional in this interview.

Bang on SB. Bang on.
