Göteborg, Sweden.

It is absolutely beautiful here. The drive from the airport was not unlike the fist few miles from Vancouver to Squamish up the Sea to Sky Highway, except there was no sea to see. And come to think of it, there was no sky either. (Is it always so overcast?) Well the Swedish and Canadian landscapes are similar. In fact if Canada had an older brother, it would be Sweden.

Göteborg averages only one to two hours of sunlight a day at this time of year so I am sure living here would be an adjustment.

Svenska ostron och smetana!

I was in Gutemberg in the month of June a few years ago. It was more like 22 hours of sunlight!

So I guess the moral is pick your time to visit.

By the way, the city is nice, but the women!
